This 3,200 sf. low cost development home on Violet Lane, Goleta, has south facing glass at each major living space, a bedroom and the kitchen. High skylights flood the interior to backlight the space and cut glare from the large areas of south glass, while heating an adjoining north wall and interior floor slab. The west elevation is complimented by a wood trellis, which creates an entry court and provides some shading of west sun at a bedroom.
